The founder of Digital Vajra Productions, Tashi Nangchen, fled from his homeland in Kham, Tibet, in 1991. When he immigrated to the United States in 1997, he became fascinated with the potential of computer technology and videography. It has since become his passion, and he spends many hours a day keeping abreast of the most recent developments in digital imaging and film production. Since in his village in Kham, there were not only no computers, but also no cameras, Tashi feels the need to offer the advantages of computer technology to others. What he would have given, he has so often said, for a picture of himself as a child, or photos of his many brothers and sisters.
